Booking and Deposit

You must produce your/all the tour participants original passport (s) at the time of booking your tour with us. You must complete and sign the official M.I.P. Booking Form enclosed in the brochure which gives the Booking Conditions of the Tour.  Please complete one Booking Form per party.

Along with the Booking Form, please enclose a non refundable and interest free deposit amount of Rs.10,000/- per -person (Adult/Child) for tours to Australia, Singapore, Bangkok, Pattaya and Malaysia.  This said deposit will be adjusted towards the cost of the Tour.

In the event of cancellation of the Tour by the passenger's after the payment of non-refundable deposits for any reason whatsoever or failure to pay the entire tour cost, the said deposits only shall stand forfeited.

All cheques/Demand Drafts must be made payable in favour of M.I.P Travels Pvt.Ltd. Aurangabad & sent to the MIP Travels Pvt. Ltd., Jalna Road, Aurangabad-43101.  On payment of the deposit amount, you will also receive Provisional M.I.P. for the amount paid. You will also receive M.I.P. PTT (Passenger Tour Ticket).

If you are booking through our TA, all payments must be made by Demand Draft in favour of M.I.P. Travels Pvt.Ltd., Aurangabad.  On payment of the deposit amount, you will receive a Temporary Receipt for the amount paid.  Within a few days you will receive a Provisional Passenger Tour Ticket & an official receipt for the amount paid.

Your Provisional PTT is the written confirmation of your Tour.  However, it is not valid for travel on the Tour.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to hold valid Travel Documents such as Passports, Visas, confirmed air tickets to be able to travel on the tour.  Each passenger should hold passport for a period of at least 6 months from the date of travel.

VISA - It is mandatory, convenient to have the VISA clearance obtained by M.I.P. from the concerned Consulates/Authorities on your behalf, please note that it is totally at the discretion of the concerned Consulate/Authorities to grant/reject your visas after you have submitted the relevant documents.  We request you to submit the relevant documents within the stipulated time as mentioned in the Documentation.  Check List given to you at the time of booking your tour, thereby ensuring the issuance of correct visas and timely compliance of the Visa formalities required for the tour you have booked.  Please check with the concerned M.I.P. staff for advise and information and also ensure that your travel documents, excluding visa, can be processed in time for your departure as it is their specific responsibility to do so.  The cost of processing the visa is not included in the Tour Price and you are required to pay for them separately.

Mediclaim

It is extremely important that you purchase an Overseas Mediclaim Insurance Policy to cover against any possible risks such as damage, loss, accident, injury to life property while on the tour.  It is mandatory that you purchase the Overseas Mediclaim Policy from the Insurance Company identified and named by M.I.P.

This will enable the Tour Manager to check with the concerned sales outlet if any such above mentioned situation arises while on tour and handle it with comparative ease, thereby ensuring you a safe, secure and tension-free holiday.

Basic Travel Quota

As per the RBI regulations, all travelers holding Indian passports are eligible for a travel allowance of US$5000 from the Basic Travel Quota (BTQ).  This travel allowance is given per calendar year and can be availed by the passenger either in travelers cheques or in a combination of travelers cheques and cash.  

It is mandatory to purchase the BTQ from an Authorized Foreign Exchange Dealer identified and named by M.I.P  In the event of a passenger loosing the travelers cheques, either in India or while on the tour, M.I.P. can assist you in the formalities for the processing of new travelers cheques.

The cost for this travel quota is not included in the Tour price and you are required to pay for the same separately.

Balance Payment

Balance Payment towards the cost of you Tour (INR and US$) must reach us at least 30 days prior to the departure of your Tour.

Your final documents and airline tickets can only be issued, provided your Balance INR and US$ Payments have reached us 30 days prior to the departure of you Tour.  There will be a delay in issuing your air ticket and arranging your visas, unless the full INR and US$ Payments are made in the stipulated time.

A delay in adhering to the above mentioned time period would result in the cancellation of your seat on the Tour.  We will then be constrained to levy Cancellation Charges.

Airline Tickets & M.I.P. Passenger Tour Ticket.

You will receive your Air Tickets from us 7 days prior to the departure, along with your M.I.P. Confirmed Passenger Tour Ticket (PTT).  This will be given provided we have received full payment including Foreign currency component in the form of Travelers Cheques only.

Your confirmed PTT entitles you to travel on the Tour and must be presented by you to the M.I.P. Tour Manager on the first day of the Tour.

Airline "Change in Reservation Fee"

It is absolutely necessary to have your return air seats to India confirmed prior to your departure from India.

Passengers wishing to change their return reservation to India after departure will have to pay "Change in Reservation Fee" directly to the airline, subject to availability of seats in the same booking class.  This fee could range from US$25 to US$150 per person depending upon the airline.

Traveling in Advance and / or Returning on your own

M.I.P. is a Packaged Tour company and holds airline seats as a group for its passengers on the date of published departures from India and return reservation back to India after the tour.

If you wish to travel in advance i.e. before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, you are required to pay an "Airline Seat Re-booking & Reservation Fee" of Rs. 1000/- per person, per sector, per change (subject to availability of seats).

Transfer from one tour to another

A Transfer from one tour to another 45 days prior to the departure will be treated as cancellation on that tour and a fresh booking on another. In these cases, Transfer Fee of Rs. 5000/- per person will be applicable.

Cancellations

In circumstances make you cancel your Tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing.  As per the Booking Conditions of the Tour, we are constrained to levy the following Cancellation Charges per person

When a Cancellation is made Charges
45 days or more prior to the departure of the Tour or for non payment of the balance amount Rs. 10,000/-
44 to 15 days prior to the departure of the Tour Rs. 20,000/-
14 to 01 day prior to the departure of the Tour Rs. 30,000/-
In case you  are a "No Show" on the Tour 100% of Tour cost

M.I.P. reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.  Under such circumstances monies paid by you will be fully refunded forthwith in Indian Rupees currency only but no compensations are payable.

Refunds

Refunds (if any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid directly to you by the concerned M.I.P. office/Travel Agent/Privilege Sales Agent through whom you have forwarded your payments to us.  It would take at least 30 days to process refunds.  For cases where an airline ticket is issued, it would take at least 60 days to process the refund (if due).  In case of refund of Foreign Currency component, the said refund shall be made in Indian Rupees only at the prevailing rate on the date of refund as per existing Rules and regulations. There is NO REFUND payable for any Unutilized Services (e.g., Meals, Entrance Fees, Optional Tours, Hotels, sightseeing, etc).

Deposit for the Cruise

All the passengers who wish to take the Cruise will have to pay an Interest free deposit amount of Rs.10,000/- per person (Adult/Child) which will be adjusted towards the Tour Cost once the final payment is made in US$.

What your tour price includes:

1) Cost of your round trip. Economy class air fare (International packages). 2) Accommodations at the hotel mentioned or similar on twin sharing basis.

3) Services of MIP tour Manager or Local Representatives.

4) Meals, coach tours, transfers, entrance fees, sightseeing and surface transportation as mentioned in the itinerary.

What your tour price does not includes:

1) Passport, Visa charges and Airport Taxes.

2) Port Tax of US $ 23 per person (adult/child/infant) payable for Star Cruises. 3) Cost of US $ 5,000 granted by the Reserve Bank of India under the Basic Travel Quota Scheme.

4) Any increase in the air fare charged by the airlines on your air ticket (presently calculated at 1st January, 2004 rates).

5) Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

6) Porterage at hotels, apartments, airports and seaports, tips, insurance, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges and all items of personal nature & also food & drinks not forming part of the group menus.

7) Anything not specifically mentioned in "Tour price includes" box.
